A Final Thought

We attacked this dismal dungeon from top to bottom—the ceiling, the pipes, the bar, the creepy storage space—and managed to upgrade it all! Of all the projects the team took on, though, I absolutely love the daybed tucked in the back corner of the room. It’s the perfect spot to take a snooze or read a book. I also need to give a massive shout-out to David for turning the scary cellar into a cool and chic wine cooler. I mean, who’d ever think of using chimney pots as wine-bottle holders? Genius! And let me tell you, by the time we finished this space (which was by far the most challenging in this book), we all needed a glass of vino—or two. Or three. Cheers to the best Woman Cave ever!
